Rui Guan is currently a project manager in Carlo Ratti Associati and manages CRA New York Branch’s future division. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP and a Bachelor of Architecture from Southeast University. Rui's experience is extensive and diverse, with significant roles at notable firms such as China Vanke Co., Ltd., where he served as a Design and Planning Manager at the 2049 Future City Lab in Shanghai. His work has covered a broad spectrum of projects, from urban and architectural design to exhibition design and real estate development, demonstrating his ability to lead and innovate across different scales and phases of design and construction. Notable projects include the Shanghai Jiading IUFC High-mix Complex, the Shenzhen North Railway Urban Design, Biotic Technology Park, Helsinki Hot Heart and several international architectural competitions and exhibitions. Overall, Rui embodies a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and a passion for enhancing the built environment through innovative design and technology.
