Dr. Lin HAO received his Bachelor of Architecture at Tsinghua University, Master of Architecture at UC Berkeley, and PhD in Architecture at the University of Cambridge. He is Director of the Oval partnership, Managing Director of INTEGER Intelligent & Green, Honorary Research Fellow at Tsinghua University, former Adjunct Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His extensive experience and expertise span urban regeneration, green architecture, public space, and community building, specialising in embedding culture and heritage into unique place-making, while achieving imaginative, innovative and inclusive sustainability. Projects under Lin’s leadership received numerous prestigious awards including RIBA International Award, WAF Award, WAN Award, ULI Global Awards for Excellence, Design for Asia Grand and Gold Award, ARCASIA Award, HKIA Annual Awards, AIA Hong Kong Chapter Honor Awards for Architecture and Sustainability. Lin is Director-in-Charge of Taikoo Li Chengdu from 2008 to its grand opening in 2015. Other award-winning projects under Lin’s leadership include 1 Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya, Innhouse in Kunming. He served as WAN Award International Jury, WA Chinese Architecture Award Jury. He has lectured and published widely on sustainable urbanism and architecture including a book “Green Design for the Future”.
