Mr. Lijian Zhao currently serves as China Country Director for Carbon Trust. He manages Carbon Trust’s China office and oversee all of its activities in China, including corporate sustainability services such as carbon accounting, science-based target setting, TCFD, product carbon footprint and carbon label, green finance & transition finance, green technology acceleration and investment, climate and clean energy policies, etc. Mr. Zhao joined Carbon Trust from the Energy Foundation China, where he was the Director of the Environmental Management Program. Mr. Zhao also worked as a Consultant/Auditor at Sinosphere, performing supply chain CSR audits for multi-national corporations. Mr. Zhao holds a MSc. Degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management from Lund University, University of Manchester, and Central European University. He holds a Bachelor of Philosophy from Peking University.
